What's in a name?
- Like all utterances of language, toponyms consist
of words and phonemes (#253).
- The grammar (#121) of a language provides the structure through
which the language and elements thereof (like names) convey meaning.
- Syntactic rules determine the ways in which
the elements of a language may be combined.
