Dear colleagues - apologies for cross-posting
The Map Curators’ Group (MCG) of the British Cartographic Society will
hold its Annual Workshop in County Durham on *Tuesday 5 September 2017*
The venue is Redworth Hall Hotel (DL5 6NL)

pre-conference programme of the British Cartographic Society - Society
of Cartographers joint conference

MCG may also arrange a visit on the morning of Wednesday 6 September.
The MCG workshop theme will be:

The organisers are calling for proposals for presentations to be given
at the Workshop on a relevant theme which might include:
* Digitisation and online availability
* Growing functionality and range of users
* Crowd sourcing
* Events for new audiences
* Marketing to new audiences
* Training using online applications
* Attracting and connecting with new audiences
Presentations will be given on Tuesday 5 September at Redworth Hall
Hotel, should last approximately 30 minutes, and are generally made
using PowerPoint.
Please contact either the MCG Convener, Ann Sutherland or Anne Taylor
with your proposal by Wednesday 15 March 2017.
