Dear All,

We are delighted to announce the publication of the website of the new
International Society for the History of the Map on December 1, 2011.

The Founding Meeting of the Society will be held in London at the School of
Advanced Study, University of London (pls find more information on our
website) at:

http://ishm.elte.hu/

Note:

All who are unable to attend the Founding Meeting can register online. This is
the first step of the process and it is not a commitment to join as mebership
application will be valid after your payment is received. For legal and
technical reasons payment of membership dues (to be decided by the Founding
Meeting) will be possible shortly after the establishment of the society.
