Soviet Intelligence Plans for the British Isles

Seminar runs from 5.00pm to 6.30pm at the University of Oxford Centre for the Environment, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QY

PLEASE NOTE:
To celebrate World Book Day, the 'Book of Curiosities' will be on display in the Divinity School (Old Schools Quadrangle, Bodleian Library) from 10.00am to 3:00pm.
The Book of Curiosities is an eleventh-century Arabic account of the heavens and the Earth, illustrated by an unparalleled series of maps and astronomical diagrams locating places and phenomena ranging from comets to the island of Sicily, from lunar mansions to the sources of the Nile.


The Oxford Seminars in Cartography are supported by the Friends of TOSCA, ESRI (UK) Ltd, Oxford Cartographers, the British Cartographic Society, the Charles Close Society, and the School of Geography and the Environment
