In the past years I served as the co-ordinator of the 21st
International Conference on
the History of Cartography, which was held in Budapest in July, 2005.
Since this was a demanding and a rewarding job, my map making workshop
was temporary closed.
For the conference I produced, however, a small
copper plate. participants of my special workshop could print a copy of
the new edition of Gastaldi's 1546 world map from his edition
of
Ptolemy. This - and my other
original technology new edition maps are offered in the redesigned
gallery. Please, note Cartart workshop offers only limited edition,
original technology, custom maps to individual order.
