The 2018 Annual Meeting of the Society for the History of Discoveries (SHD)
will be at the Colorado School of Mines, in partnership with the Rocky
Mountain Map Society. The RMMS pre-conference, Golden Quest: Mapping the
Stampedes, (free to SHD and RMMS Members) will take place on Thursday,
September 20th, before the opening reception of the SHD conference on
Thursday evening. The Thursday pre-conference will be at the Colorado School
of Mines Ben H. Parker Student Center at 1651 Elm St, Golden, CO 80401. Once
you enter the building, signs will indicate where to go. Although the
pre-conference is free for all RMMS members, we ask that any attending
