Invitation to host ICHG 2018
The Local Organising Committee would like to invite members of the Historical Geography community to consider hosting the 17th International Conference of Historical Geographers which is due to take place in 2018: http://www.ichg2015.org/ichg-2018/
The ICHG has no permanent organisation or secretariat. Its organisation relies on the initiative of local organisers and a collective memory of what has been a significant and increasingly influential series of conferences, held every three years. In recent years, the location of future meetings has been discussed at the final business meeting of the conference (Friday 10th July 2015).
If you are interested in expressing an interest in hosting ICHG 2018 please contact the Local Organising Committee: admin at ICHG2015.org
On behalf of the ICHG, and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), the Local Organising Committee looks forward to welcoming you to London for ICHG 2015 and to your involvement in a stimulating conference.
Local Organising Committee:
Prof Felix Driver, Royal Holloway, University of London (Chair); Dr Catherine Souch, Head of Research, RGS-IBG; Dr Nicola Thomas, University of Exeter; Prof Charles Withers, University of Edinburgh; Dr Stephanie Wyse, Research Division, RGS-IBG
