Dear ISHM Subscriber,

I am delighted to inform you that from 2014 this mailing list will be re-launched.

ISHMap-List, hosted and maintained by The International Society for the History of the Map, will be an internationaldiscussion list devoted to the history of the map. The discussion list is offered as free, open to all and asinclusive as possible.Those who have subscribed to the list since 2011 received some news and information about the new Society.

As a subscriber you are kindly asked to consider the forthcoming changes and review your subscription.

You are invited to remain with us and become member of a wider and informal community and a contributor to the discussion on any aspect of the history of the map. Please, read carefully the Terms and Conditions document on the ISHMap-List subscription page (scroll down) before you update your subcription.

Please, note that yourname and affiliation is now required when subscribing - and update your userprofile if necessary.

In case you decided not to continue please cancel your subscription. Subscriptions which are not updated by the end ofJanuary 2014 will be cancelled by the site administrator.

For technical reasons in the next few days the new list will be in test mode.The site administrator will temporarily block e-mail service for allsubscribers (note: subscription module remains functional).Once you receive an announcement about the succesful relaunch of ISHMap-Listin early January 2014, you know that your subscription is re-activated, thelist is functional and you are all welcome to contribute. Be prepared.
