Dear CogVisers,
The CogVis leadership team wishes all of you a festive and restful end of year and all the best for a happy, healthy and interesting 2020!
We are writing to let you know about planned CogVis sponsored- and/or organised events for 2020 for your forward planning. We hope to see many of you at one or more of these events.
More information will be available at the CogVis website (https://cogvis.icaci.org) as each of the events draws closer.
* Workshop on Indoor Cartography, Znojmo, Czech Republic, 10-12 June 2020, abstracts due 29 February, workshop website<https://www.phil.muni.cz/cal2020/en>. There will also be a practical workshop on eye tracking during this event, giving attendees the chance to explore using different types of eye tracking devices (co-organised with the ICA Commissions on User Experience and Location-Based Services).
* Sessions on Spatial Cognition in the Mobile Era at the 28th Chinese Professionals in Geographic Information Sciences Conference in Nanchang, China, 26-28 June 2020, abstracts due 15 January. Please see the attached PDF for more details (co-organised with the ICA Commission on Location-Based Services together with Professor Weihua Dong, Beijing Normal University).
* Workshop on Analytical Reasoning: Cartography, Visualization, Design, Warsaw, Poland, 14 September 2020, 2-page paper deadline 15 May. The CFP and workshop website will be published early in 2020 (co-organised with the ICA Commissions on User Experience and Visual Analytics, together with the University of Warsaw Department of Geoinformatics, Cartography and Remote Sensing).
