         A PostDoc position (full time) is available at the GIScience 
Research Group (Prof. Alexander Zipf) at the Department of Geography at 
Heidelberg University. http://giscience.uni-hd.de. The position is 
funded through a EU research project. The candidate shall contribute to 
research related to (a selection of) the following research topics:

    Crowdsourced and Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI), esp.
    OpenStreetMap (OSM) or Geo-Social-Networks etc.  (analysis, fusion,
    quality management etc.), as well as

  *

    Navigation, Routing and Location Based Services (LBS), esp. with
    user generated geographic information.

    Chair of GIScience is also member in the Interdisciplinary Center
    for Scientific Computing (IWR) and funding member of the Heidelberg

    Geoinformatics, Geography or Computer Science and similar, as well
