A PostDoc
position (full time) is available at
the GIScience
Research Group (Prof. Alexander Zipf) at
the Department of Geography at Heidelberg University.
http://giscience.uni-hd.de. The position is
funded through a EU research project. The candidate
shall contribute to research related to (a selection
of) the following research topics:
Crowdsourced and Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI), esp. OpenStreetMap (OSM) or Geo-Social-Networks etc. (analysis, fusion, quality management etc.), as well as
Navigation, Routing and Location Based Services (LBS), esp. with user generated geographic information.

We expect a top rated university deegree or PhD in either Geoinformatics, Geography or Computer Science and similar, as well as research experience and know how in Geoinformatics, paired with the ability for independent scientific work and teamwork.
