Stereo photography has a 60% overlap along the flight line and 15% overlap between flight lines.
A stereoscopic image can only be created where two photographs overlap. The 60% overlap between adjacent photographs in the flying direction is used for this purpose. The 15% side overlap is to ensure complete coverage.
