Folks,

The listserv message was poorly worded -- it asked us to confirm to the 
address "listadmin," but did not include the "listadmin" address.  I'm 
sure there is a standard iteration for appending or prepending listadmin 
onto the *ishm* address, but replying to the list itself isn't helping 
those of you who wish to confirm, nor to those who are wondering why 
we're getting all these messages.

I logged into the list Web page using the instructions given and added 
my name along with my e-mail address.  That should be sufficient 
confirmation.  Those of you who want to unsubscribe -- read the original 
message!  It tells you where to go and what you need to unsubscribe 
yourself.  If you're worried that it is a suspicious site, note that 
elte.hu is the Web address for Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, 
Hungary.
