Greetings from Geospatial World!

I am reaching out to invite you to participate in Geospatial World Forum 2022<https://geospatialworldforum.org/index.html>. For over a decade, Geospatial World Forum (GWF) has been the premium geospatial industry platform that connects academia, industry, government, and the leaders representing the entire geospatial ecosystem.

Academia and research institutes are the foundation for knowledge, making innovation and application possible to benefit society further. GWF 2022 is organizing a two-day “Training Programs on Fundamentals of Geospatial” for aspiring students and fellows on 11-12 May 2022. The training session will help the participants explore geospatial capabilities for analysing spatial data and creating spatial outputs; gain more significant insights into data structures and their appropriate application, and learn the basic principles of geospatial technology. The fundamental training will be given by some eminent professors and leaders from academia and industry, such as Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dieter Fritsch, Institute of Photogrammetry, University of Stuttgart, Germany; Dr. Ingo Simonis, Chief Technology Innovation Officer, Open Geospatial Consortium; and Dr. Mohamed M.R. Mostafa, Lead Technical Authority, Mobile Mapping, Applanix. The training programs are:


  *   Fundamentals of Photogrammetry and Imaging
  *   Geographic Information Science and Spatial Analytics
  *   Geospatial Standards (Hosted by OGC)
  *   Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) & Autonomy
  *   High-Precision UAV Mapping using Lidar/Camera Payloads

Each training program will be for 90 minutes and conducted at Theater-3, Exhibition Hall.
We will provide the participants with a ‘Certificate of Participation.’ The students/participants will have full access to the exhibition hall, which will also have dedicated Deep-dive and Technology Sessions (UAV, SAR, AI, Automation & Robotics, HD Mapping) along with Live Tech/Product Demos by top-notch technology and user industry. And all this will be for only EUR 25 (for students only; for non-students, it’s EUR 50).
