Bering Sea

The Bering Sea is bordered by Asia, North America and the Aleutian Islands. There is only a narrow connection between the Bering Sea and the Arctic Ocean (Bering Strait).
The eastern half of the Bering Sea is a continental shelf. In the western half of the sea, there are two deep basins and some ridges.
