East China Sea
The East China Sea is bordered by Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan and the Ryukyu Islands. I
classified the Yellow Sea as part of the East China Sea.
Most of the area is a shelf. The continental slope and the deep-sea floor are present only in a narrow
basin in the southern part of the East China Sea.
