Philippine Sea
The Philippine Sea is bordered by Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines and the island arcs of Palau and
Mariana Islands. It is separated from the Pacific Ocean by undersea ridges.
The Seto Naikai Sea, that is situated among the islands of Japan, can be classified as a part of the
Philippine Sea.
The Philippine Sea has a complex undersea relief. The three basic forms are all present in this sea.
