Persian Gulf
The Persian Gulf is an intracontinental sea between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. It has only a
narrow connection to the Indian Ocean, so I classified it as an independent sea. The maximum depth
of the Persian Gulf is less than 100 metres, the whole area is continental shelf. I did not divide the
area into smaller regions.
