Marmara Sea
The Marmara Sea is a small sea between Europe and Asia. It is the smallest of the seas of my
system. It is connected with the Aegean and the Black Sea by narrow straits (Dardanelles, Bosporus).
The deepest point of the Marmara Sea is 1389 metres deep. The Marmara Sea can be divided into
three basic regions (shelf, continental slope, deep-sea floor).
