FlexiTon Kft, a Finnish-Hungarian joint venture, was established in 1990. The company is registered in Budapest.

FlexiTon Kft's operations are divided into four parts:

• Digitising maps and documents. More than seven thousand map sheets of about eight hundred settlements have been digitised by our service bureau together with one thousand kilometres of strip maps and hundreds of other documents. Based on the experience gained during these projects a high level technical know-how has been established which enables FlexiTon to supply digitised maps or documents of excellent quality at extremely short delivery times and at a reasonable cost.
• Developing operations support systems based on GIS for utilities. Projects were targeted to the cable network management of utilities. Additionally, some customer service functions were also included in the delivered systems. Data collection together with the creation of the complete databases are also part of the services offered. Naturally, our service bureau supplies the needed digitised maps and documents for the systems.
• Providing tailored Engineering Documentation Management systems. Systems ranging from simple archiving and viewing to highly sophisticated document management of large organisations can be supplied. Modularity and excellent technical tools enable us to deliver the most suitable solution at a competitive cost.
• Software services in development projects. Several projects were successfully accomplished for Finnish high-tech companies.

These activities are supported by the ISC Agreement with Intergraph, the ISD Agreement with Bentley, the Distributor Agreements with PAFEC Ltd. and CONTEX A/S, the Value Added Retailer Agreement with Hewlett Packard and SUN.

Markets of the operations are Hungary, Finland, Sweden, Russia and Germany.
