18. Area statistics/aggregation level

Slovak-Hungarian-Romanian map war: In the aftermath pf World War I, Slovaks, Hungarians and Romanians produced language maps in order to claim specific areas.

 

In this area, 45% Slovaks and 55% Hungarians were living: representation according to (clockwise) Chechoslovakia, neutral party and Hungary.

Blue = Slovaks

Red = Hungarians

 

 

 

In this area, 45,8% Romanians were living and 42,6% Hungarians.
