1898 Law equal rights language communities

1930 Language act: Dutch names to be used in Dutch-speaking part

1937 Names of Flanders municipalities defined (in Dutch)

1950 First maps with Dutch names added (in parentheses)

1960 Second version: all names doubled > only space enough for half the names
