Sziasztok,

1. OCAD Route Analyzer 2.0 Beta Version released

OCAD has enhanced its Route Analyzer and made it
accessible to forest orienteering!

The previous version of the Route Analyzer was
limited to 2D sprint maps, because it assumed a constant speed and
only distinguished between passable and impassable map objects. As
a result, the shortest route was displayed.

The Route Analyzer 2.0 can be used in urban as
well as in classic forest terrain thanks to the consideration of
runnability and relief. This is because the Route Analyzer 2.0 no
longer searches for the shortest route, but for the fastest route.

The course setters thus have an exciting tool at
their disposal to check and compare route choices. And as a bonus,
the Route Analyzer also spits out the effective running distance
and meters to climb along the fastest calculated routes of an
entire course.
