Department of Geography at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park
invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of
Assistant Professor specializing in geographic information science (GIScience).
We are interested in
candidates
who will strengthen the [UTF-8?]department’s research and teaching program
and help build strong connections to other relevant science communities.
Candidates with an emphasis in any area associated with GIScience will be
considered. A PhD degree completed
before
August 1, 2019, is expected. Excellence in teaching, research, and service is
expected of professors employed by Penn State Geography, as is development of an
externally funded research program. Participation in the department`s online
geospatial
education
