of the EuroSDR
working group is planned for <b>Monday afternoon December 1<sup>st</sup>
and
Tuesday morning December 2<sup>nd</sup> at Ghent
University (Belgium)</b>. It
will be followed immediately by the meeting of the
International Cartographic
Association (ICA) commission on Map Production at Ghent
University
(Tuesday/Wednesday) and the ICA commission on the History of
Cartography
(Thursday/Friday), both addressing the influence of war on
(the evolution of)
map production technology, and the Brussels Map Circle
international

these meetings in one
week, we aim to make it more efficient for interested
parties to join all
events in one week, and as such to draw more participants to
all events (more
time efficient, reduced travelling costs, …) and as such to
invoke cross-breed
between the different working groups. The EuroSDR working
group will focus more
on the organizational aspects (future), on a framework for
future cooperation,
and will leave the more ‘detailed’ practical examples of
preservation projects
to the meetings later that week.</span></p>

to invite you to our 2<sup>nd</sup> EuroSDR Workshop on
Monday 1<sup>st</sup>
of December (from 11:00 onwards*) and finishing in the
morning of Tuesday 2<sup>nd
</sup>December. </span></b><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial;">We foresee
that the outcomes
of our discussions can be integrated in the program of the
following ICA
symposium, to get by this channel also a wider audience.</span></p>

with a few presentations from network-specialists on funding

organizations with whom we could potentially join our
