ELIANE DOTSON is president of the Washington Map Society. EVELYN EDSONis Professor Emerita of History at Piedmont Virginia Community College in Charlottesville Virginia.  She served from 2011-2019 as the Chair of the WMS Ristow Prize Competition. CASSANDRA BRITT FARRELL is Senior Map Archivist at the Library of Virginia in Richmond. WILLIAM B. GINSBERG haspublished papers in academic journals and written three cartographic works: “Sea Charts of Norway, 1585-1812”, “Maps and Mapping of Norway, 1602—1855”, and “Printed Maps of Scandinavia and the Arctic, 1482—1601”.  RON GRIM is Curator of Maps (retired), Norman B. Leventhal Map and Education Center at the Boston Public Library. ART HOLZHEIMER, a collector of maps since the early 1960’s, is on the steering committees of the Philip Lee Phillips Society and the Miami Map Fair. He was the sponsor from 2001-2014 of the annual David Woodward Memorial Fellowship in the History of Cartography, and since 1990 has sponsored the annual Holzheimer Maps and America Lecture series at the AGS collection in Milwaukee. DAVID LEE INGRAM is a retired licensed land surveyor who now dabbles in the repair and restoration of antique surveying instruments and continues to study the history of surveying. The late BERT JOHNSON had a strong interest in Mediterranean mapping.  The most prolific writer in the history of this journal, a tribute to him appears in this issue.  ANDREW J. RHODESis the winner of the 2019 DR. WALTER RISTOW PRIZE FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT IN THE HISTORY OF CARTOGRAPHY. Mr. Rhodes is a career civil servant who has served as an expert in Asia-Pacific affairs in a varietyof analytic, advisory, and staff positions in the government. THOMAS SANDER is Editor of “The Portolan”. ROGER STEWART’sinterests are generally historical maps of Africa, with special interest in miniatures of the continent and South Africa, plus maps of early travelers in the Cape of Good Hope.  LEAH M.
