Programme and registration The Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation was founded in 1925 by Prof Eduard Imhof and is the oldest academic cartographic institute in the world. The two-day symposium will look back on the Institute's activities and present current projects. At the same time, a 270-page commemorative publication will be published describing the history of the institute and its predecessor professorships. All former members of the Institute, research partners and other interested parties are cordially invited to this event.
