I am attaching the updated version of the paper, which includes Iwona's contributions. I have also added a figure of all the subtypes, as requested by the first reviewer, and I trimmed down the text before the figure to accommodate it (I did not mark up these small changes). The only unresolved issue is the comment by the first reviewer about the ordering of the references. I sorted based on all the authors followed by the dates, but the reviewer expects them to be ordered by just the first author and then the dates. What do you recommend? The deadline for the revised version is 8 May 2023, but we do not have to wait that long. Can you please send all your inputs by Thursday next week, 6 April 2023? Thanks Antony -----Original Message----- From: icc2023 at easychair.org Sent: Friday, 17 March 2023 23:43 To: Antony Cooper Subject: ICC 2023 notification for paper 2906 Dear Antony Cooper, We have the pleasure to inform you that your submission 2906 A review of the ICA model of stakeholders in a spatial data infrastructure (SDI) was accepted for an oral presentation at the International Cartographic Conference 2023, to be held in Cape Town from 13 to 18 August 2023. The paper thus looks at a timespan of about 15 years of latest SDI development, which brings a wide perspective on the topic. Suggestions from the literature are itemized and discussed through systematically, and problems with stakeholder classifications are also taken into account, where negative stakeholders are an important addition. With all the stakeholder roles and their modifications presented, I miss an illustration gathering them together in relation to each other. In the references, I see that reverse chronological order is used but Oliveira 2015 and 2016 do not follow that. The paper is easy to suggest to be developed into a cartographic journal article. ----------- Originality/novelty of the paper ----------- SCORE: 4 (good) ----------- Potential interest to the ICA community ----------- SCORE: 5 (absolutely relevant and interesting) ----------- Proper documentation of related work in the paper ----------- SCORE: 4 (good) ----------- Correct use of English ----------- SCORE: 5 (excellent) ----------- Clarity of presentation in the paper ----------- SCORE: 5 (excellent) ----------- Reviewer confidence ----------- SCORE: 4 (high) ----------------------- REVIEW 2 --------------------- SUBMISSION: 2906 TITLE: A review of the ICA model of stakeholders in a spatial data infrastructure (SDI) AUTHORS: Antony Cooper, Serena Coetzee, Harold Moellering, Petr Rapant, Joep Crompvoets, Jan Hjelmager, Tatiana Delgado and Adam Iwaniak ----------- Overall evaluation of the paper ----------- SCORE: 6 (strong accept) ----- TEXT: Through a review of the literature citing the ICAs formal models of SDI, the paper aims to offer improvements to the Enterprise Viewpoint through more detailed categories for defining stakeholders. The literature showed that this was a point of confusion for implementation and suggested improvements stand to make the model more functional and useable across the board.
