Subject: ELTE LC – Annual Evacuation Drill – Wednesday, 11 November 2026 – REPEATED NOTICE

Dear Colleagues,

Please be informed that, in accordance with our legal obligations, mandatory evacuation drills will be conducted at the following locations and times. The drills apply to everyone present in the buildings.
Budapest XI, Pázmány Péter sétány 1/A
Lágymányos Campus (North Building)
Wednesday, 11 November 2026 – 10:00 a.m.
Budapest XI, Pázmány Péter sétány 1/C
Lágymányos Campus (South Building)
Wednesday, 11 November 2026 – 10:20 a.m.
Budapest XI, Bogdánfy utca 10/A
Bogdánfy Building – Faculty of Informatics
Wednesday, 11 November 2026 – 10:40 a.m.

During each drill, the fire alarm siren will sound briefly within the scheduled time period. The ventilation fans in the smoke-free stairwells will be activated, and the elevators will travel to the ground floor with their doors open.
Before and after the drill, the dispatch service will announce its start and completion over the public address system. Where this is not possible, occupants must be notified verbally, by shouting, that they are required to leave the building.
When the alarm sounds, please assist one another in informing colleagues, students and, in particular, people with disabilities. Where necessary, please provide assistance to ensure that everyone leaves the building safely and together, thereby ensuring the successful completion of the evacuation drill. The drill cannot be considered successful as long as anyone other than technical personnel remains inside the building.
The drill is expected to last approximately 25–35 minutes.

We kindly ask you to take note of the above, make the necessary arrangements, and ensure that colleagues working in the buildings, tenants and students are informed accordingly.

This notice will be sent out several times.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Kind regards,
ELTE LC – Technical Operations Department (MŰFIG)
