Currently, we are looking for a Map Specialist, so join Us, because together we can enhance the driving experience for millions of iGO users!


Your main tasks include, among others:


Production of internal maps for the iGO navigation software. Analysing and managing geospatial databases of global and local map providers, performing data conversion, transformation tasks and other related tasks (e.g. support, documentation).


Requirements


If you want to be the next Map Specialist you must fulfill the following requirements.

    University degree (preferably in cartography, geoinformatics, geography or other geography)
    Knowledge of geographic databases
    Proficiency in geospatial softwares (ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo)
    Intermediate level SQL knowledge
    Language skills: native Hungarian, communication skills in English
    Problem solving, analytical, positive thinking
    Communicate clearly and effectively (both verbal and in writing)
    Quality-oriented approach, demanding in his/her work


Nice to have


    Programming skills (SQL, Python)
    Knowledge of navigation databases
    Knowledge of agile working culture, work experience
    Practical knowledge of navigation software
