[Hallgato] GeoSpatial Summer School (G3S) - inform your students about the last call

Dear all,

you will have noticed that our department is holding a summer school at the end of June. This year, the GeoSpatial Summer School (G3S) is focusing on GIScience & GeoParticipation. The website for the event is here - http://gisummer.upol.cz/.

It is a five-day event in Olomouc, directly at the department, where each day is catered by one of the experts in the field - so for this year geoparticipation, PPGIS, participatory mapping, landscape values, etc. The experts make an interesting mix:

- Kirsi Forss (Mapita / Maptionnaire system, Finland/Germany)
- Jiří Pánek (UPOL, leading Czech expert on geoparticipation)
- Jonny Huck (University of Manchester, UK, GIS expert and creator of the PPGIS platform Map-Me)
- Nora Fagerholm (University of Turku, Finland, world-renowned expert on Human-Nature Interaction using GIS)
- Georg Gartner (TU Wien, Austria, distinguished cartographer and former ICA President)
