Cardiff School of Planning and Geography have up to four full time PhD studentships available to start in January 2014.

The studentships are not subject specific and we encourage applications from human geographers and other social and environmental scientists. Preference will be given to applicantswhose proposed research connects with the priority research themes of the [UTF-8?]School’s four research groups. See: http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/cplan/research/research-groups

Applicants are also encouraged to contact any prospective supervisors prior to making an application. See: http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/cplan/about-us/staff
The awards will provide funding for the three years of a PhD, and assumes that the applicant will already have had research training from an MSc degree or extensive research experience.
The awards are available for both UK/EU and Overseas applicants.
For further details on the studentships and the application process please see: http://courses.cardiff.ac.uk/funding/R1116.html
