General information
Three maps have been evaluated. The MC has not received the original maps (paper
versions). The evaluation has been done by checking the OCAD files.
All maps were made by the same map makers.
General comments
There was a very dense network of tracks and paths in some parts of the terrain.
The chosen scale gave a very clear picture of the terrain.
All the track and path symbols were not drawn carefully enough. Too many crossings
were drawn so that the crossing is not clear (correct line widths, nice crossings).
Side tracks should be drawn in such a way that they start from a dash in order
to form a clear "T" or "Y" for the crossing.
According to the ISMTB-OM every fifth contour shall be drawn with a thicker line (102 Index contour). That specification was not followed. However, the height difference was not big in these terrains.

Map: Lotnisko Góraszka 1:15 000
Almost all (5 out of 6) the tracks and paths were drawn by using different symbols from the symbols described in ISMTB-OM 2004. It is not acceptable in an international event. How it is possible that the IOF Event Adviser has allowed to use this map?

All the symbols 714 Dangerous object across tracks and paths were 2.00 mm long
and 0.75 mm wide. According to the ISMTB-OM it shall be 2.30/0.60.
The spacing of the north lines was 33.33 mm in the map and 500 m in the terrain. According to the ISMTB-OM it shall be 20 mm in the map and 300 m in the terrain.
114.0 Small depression and 303.0 Waterhole are not allowed in the MTB-O maps. There were a lot of them and the usage of those symbols was unnecessary.
The black bank line (0.18 mm) was used on large lakes. For large lakes 50% blue fill, a 100% blue bank line (0.25 mm) shall be used.
The colour of the building was 50% black. According to the ISMTB-OM it shall be 100% black.
The colour of the symbol 528.0 Settlement was used in the marsh for some unknown reason.
