Dear colleague,

let us kindly invite you for the GIS Ostrava 
2020 conference focused on --
UAV in Smart City and Smart Region --. The 
event is under an auspices of
ISPRS and will be held in March 18-20, 2020 
in Ostrava, the Czech Republic.

Key speakers: Francesco Nex (University of 
Twente), Jakub Karas (UpVision).
Besides standard presentation and poster 
sessions there will be three
workshops realized, from which one will be 
given by Francesco Nex, the
second by Franz Xaver Pfaffenbichler (City of 
Vienna) and the third one is
currently under negotiation.

Submissions in a form of extended abstracts 
can be registered till January
9, 2020. Authors of accepted extended 
abstracts are encouraged to submit
their full paper to the conference Special 
issue in the ISPRS International
Journal of Geo-Information 
(https://www.mdpi.com/journal/ijgi).
Negotiations for the conference special issue 
establishment are in their
final stage. Other options are to publish the 
full paper in the conference
proceedings with ISBN and DOI or in the 
GeoScience Engineering journal
(open peer-reviewed journal, free of charge,
http://gse.vsb.cz/ojs/index.php/GSE).
