Zsófia Varga
I obtained my masters degree in Environmental Engineering in 2009. I studied the modelling of pollutant densities at the Vienna Agricultural University (2008) and the Technical University of Prague (2008) with an Erasmus scholarship.
I worked at the Integrated Pollution Prevention Department of the Head Department of Environmental Conservation of the Ministry of Environment and Water, where I participated in the study of impact studies, IPPC - BAT system evaluation and environmental inspectorates in their further development of the Espoo Convention.
Since September 2013, I have been working at the Corvinus University of Budapest, from 2016 Szent István University, at the Technical Department of the Faculty of Horticulture, where I teach primarily Technics in Environmental Protection, Renewable Resources, Biophysics, Geographical Information Systems and Remote sensing.
From 1. Sept. 2020 I continue my job at Eötvös Lorant University, Faculty of Informatic Sciences, Cartography and Geoinformatics Department.
Main research field is field spectroscopy (spectroradiometers, multispectral cameras, thermal cameras, UAVs).
