When any displaying of the contents of the database DAT it is necessary, that he individual objects, object types, object groups, object classes, the database or the area segment to be displayed be provided with explanatory text according to the rules cartographically conceived of the lettering.

The explanatory text is the object of the map compilation. Therefore it is located separated from the attributes, in a separated table in the structured hierarchy of the database DAT. Each of the occurrences of the explanatory text has an own individual identifier.
