Orienteering Event
For outdoor orienteering enthusiasts, there will be a crosscountry orienteering event at which attendees can practice their basic map-user skills and appreciate the natural landscapes of a suitable location within striking distance of Santiago.

Orienteering Event
For outdoor orienteering enthusiasts, there will be a cross-country orienteering event at which attendees can practice their basic map-user skills and appreciate
the natural landscapes of a suitable location within a reasonable distance of Santiago where the competition will take place. This activity is programmed for Friday 20th of November in the morning. In planning the event, LOC will apply methods compatible wi the practices of the International Orienteering Federation (IOF) and will have the support of the “School for Services and Physical Education” of the Chilean Army (ESEFE) in organizing and executing the event. Competitors will be transported to the site of the competition by bus and will receive an orienteering map. The winner will be announced at the Closing Ceremony on Saturday the 21st, also through the conference web site and in the ICA bulletins.
