Graphic file formats
Features of general graphic software:
- Easy to learn, flexible.
- Supporting Bézier-curves, colour separation.
- Graphic styles, different colour models.
- Layer structure.
- Different filling methods (uniform, hatching, bitmap fills etc.).
Common file formats: AdobeIllustrator (AI), DXF, EPS (for output).
The most sophisticated features are software dependants, but these are not relevant
for cartography.
